A Personal Message From Ralph Elliott
As a consultant to management to some top-drawer seminar/event companies, universities, and associations, I've found I enjoy the greatest success with leaders who can be frank and forthright without any sugarcoating.
Those who tell me " We've hit a wall in growth" … "Our copywriting just doesn't ring true like it did in our hungry years" … "Our content is dull and outdated, pricing/offers/incentives are not getting conversions and bookings" And my favorite: "We need a total makeover - like on those reality shows."
It's talk like this that leads to the breakthroughs that makes working with clients fun. We all pull together, and the result is a better product… seats fill up again, feedback is positive, and customers convert into long-term clients.
Wish I could take all the credit clients want to give me. But I know better than to crow solo. Yes, I bring to the table my share of bankable big ideas and so many easily implementable tips, shortcuts, common sense changes it's no wonder some clients gave me tights and a cape. But seriously; if I wasn't working with clients willing to give a go to what I have to offer them, they might still be stuck in the quagmire of status quo instead of status go.
